May 18, 2023 · If the Twitch tab isn't active, raids result in going to the new channel, but the content doesn't start playing until the tab is active again. Playback will hang sometimes when it's in the background and resume when I return to the tab.

Jan 21, 2024 · I have used all the extensions and scripts people mention below for years. As of the last few days, it appears twitch updated their anti adblock so though these do block ads, the stream stays black forever. So far the only thing I've found to work right now is the very unpleasant last resort of an alternative player. Reply reply kaboomx •

May 25, 2024 · Twitch only allows you to gain channel points on a maximum of two channels at once I assume you are elligible/progressing drops on channels where you're also gaining those said channel points. So essentially if you're earning channel points I would say it's safe to assume your drop is progressing. Make sure your stream isn't muted.
