Apr 13, 2024 · As the tittle says, I'm unable to link Whatsapp from the phone to the Desktop version. Tried reinstalling Whatsapp desktop, restarting my computer and phone, reinstalling Whatsapp desktop (again) and cleaning Whatsapp cache in the phone.

I'm using WhatsApp web instead and using the feature "Download App" from Chrome which allow me to have the WhatsApp web as an independent window and right now it works better than the official desktop app for Catalina.

Nov 30, 2023 · WhatsApp Web consuming way too much CPU (PC) Hi, everyone. Since last night, WhatsApp Web on Chrome and every other browser I've tried has been using way more CPU than it needs or had previously used. Like, way more. Chrome usually uses around 0-5% depending on what I'm doing.

Feb 19, 2024 · The only solution I found to successfully duplicate your iPhone WhatsApp account, to a functional client on the iPad was via WhatsApp Web. Open your WhatsApp app on your iPhone and open the menu using the 3 little dots.

Apr 25, 2023 · Why cant I download videos from the whatsapp web version via desktop Everytime I click on a chat I can download all the pictures but as soon as I click on a video the download button disappears. This problem just started happening earlier this month. Is this a new bug they haven't fixed?

Sep 27, 2024 · A web page should now load and display all your recent WhatsApp messages, along with any media or voice notes. Be aware that there are a few limitations when using WhatsApp this way. Most importantly, unlike when the service is used on a Mac or PC, notifications from web browsers aren’t supported on iOS/iPadOS.

Sep 28, 2025 · Hello there, I cannot get my WhatsApp (iPhone 17 Pro) to link with WhatsApp Desktop (Windows). Every time I try, it shows an "Unexpected error" and reverts back to the first page where I have to click Get Started again. I can successfully link to WhatsApp Web. I also tested with an Android phone on the same Desktop app, and that worked fine. I’m sure this is not an internet connection issue ...
